The first Hockey India Junior and Sub-Junior Academy Nationals were conducted at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar from 17-26 March 2021, which saw the participation of 24 Hockey India affiliated academy teams in both categories. The event was hosted by DSYS, Govt. of Odisha & Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre under the patronage of the parent body Hockey India. SAI Academy emerged winners in both the categories, defeating MP Hockey Academy and ONTHHPC in their respective finals.
